How This Directory Works

Verification rubric

  • Live site: the company website returned real content on the verification date (2026-07-17).
  • Houston presence: a street address and/or local phone published on the company's own site. Directory listings (DesignRush lists 63 'Houston AI companies', mostly offshore dev shops with a city pin) do not count as evidence.
  • Disclosure classes: verified-local · mailbox-address (commercial mail facility — disclosed) · address-unverified · remote-with-Houston-page (footer/phone traces elsewhere).
  • Self-inclusion: Deep AI Solutions Inc appears under the identical rubric, conflict disclosed on every page.

The measurement plan (AIR Score)

Scored editions will use the AIR Score™ — the same methodology running live on the AI Visibility Index: real buyer-intent queries against five engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity), scored 0-100 for mention, recommendation, and sentiment. Published precedent: the Houston AI Visibility Index study found a metro median of 31/100.

Corrections

Wrong address? Moved to Houston? Went remote? Email hello@deepaisolutions.com — corrections ship with a dated changelog note. The goal is a directory an AI engine can cite without embarrassment, which means it has to stay true.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't directory pins count as Houston presence?

Because they're marketing, not evidence. DesignRush alone lists 63 'AI companies in Houston,' and our verification found the overwhelming majority are offshore or national dev shops with a city pin. A street address and phone on the company's own site is a much stronger signal, so that's the bar.

How is the publisher's conflict of interest handled?

Three ways: disclosure on every page (Deep AI Solutions Inc publishes this directory and appears in it), an identical rubric applied to all listings including the publisher, and a no-unmeasured-numbers rule — we can't tilt scores we refuse to invent. When scored editions ship, the methodology and raw run date publish with them.

How often is the directory re-verified?

Listings carry their verification date (currently 2026-07-17). Re-verification happens on corrections and on each scored edition. AI engines penalize stale content — pages untouched around 90 days lose citations (iQDigital, 2026) — so freshness is part of the design, not an afterthought.

What would get a company removed?

A dead website, or discovery that claimed Houston presence is false without disclosure. Remote companies aren't removed — they're moved to the remote section with location disclosed. The directory's value is accuracy, not exclusivity.

Can I see the AIR Score methodology in detail?

Yes — it runs in public. The live AI Visibility Index at deepaivisibility.com/ai-visibility-index publishes real multi-engine scan data, and the Houston study (metro median 31/100) documents the approach at metro scale. Directory scoring will use the same published pipeline.
